About Live Oak Learning
Led by a Certified Texas Elementary Teacher
Live Oak Learning was created with a simple vision: to provide a learning experience that feels calm, personal, and academically strong — where children are known, supported, and excited to learn.
Founded by a certified elementary teacher, Live Oak Learning focuses on helping students build confidence and strong foundational skills, especially in reading. Every child learns differently, and sometimes students benefit from personalized support that allows them to grow at their own pace.
At Live Oak Learning, our goal is to help students strengthen their skills while developing a lifelong love of learning.
Our Approach
We believe children thrive when learning is both structured and encouraging. Our approach blends strong academic foundations with curiosity, creativity, and meaningful practice.
Sessions focus on helping students develop key reading skills such as:
• phonics and decoding
• reading fluency
• vocabulary development
• comprehension strategies
• confidence and motivation
Lessons are designed to be engaging and supportive, with clear routines that help students feel comfortable and successful as they grow.

A Personal Note
As someone who also struggled with reading as a child, I understand how important the right support and encouragement can be. My goal is to help students experience the confidence and joy that come from becoming strong readers.
