What’s included:
20 daily student pages
20 corresponding answer keys
Teacher guide with support and extension suggestions
Grade 2 TEKS guide identifying selected skills and partial standards coverage
Printable PDF with whimsical winter woodland artwork

Daily math practice:
Compare numbers using <, >, and =
Order three numbers from least to greatest or greatest to least
Build place-value reasoning with numbers through 1,200

Number practice grows throughout the packet: Days 1–5 focus on numbers within 100, days 6–10 extend to 1,000, and days 11–20 extend to 1,200. Provide place-value charts or number lines as needed, and invite students to explain their comparisons.
Make kindness part of every morning: The daily “My gift to the world today is:” prompt invites students to plan a kind action, such as helping, sharing, or encouraging someone. Students can write, draw and label, or dictate their ideas. It’s a gift of kindness that every child can give!
Each page also includes calendar information, weather and season observations, a “Today I feel” check-in, and an encouraging message.
Easy to use: Print one page, allow approximately 15–20 minutes, and review selected activities together. Use for morning work, bell ringers, guided review, homeschool practice, or substitute plans. Model unfamiliar skills before assigning independent practice.
Designed for second grade, with flexibility for advanced first graders or third graders who need foundational review.
TEKS connections: Includes selected practice connected to Grade 2 ELAR 2.2A(i), 2.2B(i), 2.2C(i), and 2.11D(i), (x); and Math 2.2D. Clock activities provide partial practice for Math 2.9G. Expanded kindness responses can support ELAR 2.11B(ii), while discussion and practice of kind actions can support Health 2.4A and 2.3F.
